We don’t mean to brag, but we must admit that every state Say provides services in has some fantastic locations to visit. We’ve put together some must-see destinations in each of the five states we work in. Picking a destination will be a breeze for your next last-minute getaway or big family vacation.

1. Colorado

Colorado is well-known for its beautiful scenery and awe-inspiring mountains. It is a typical vacation destination for the Midwest outdoor lovers. If you’re visiting here, you’ll have so many options for where to visit for a memorable trip, so we’ve narrowed it down to a couple of spots.

Estes Park: Estes Park is a perfect location if you want to explore Rocky Mountain National Park. The town is located right outside of the national park, and you’ll have easy access to Trail Ridge Road, a beautiful national park road to explore and take in the towering mountains.

Golden: Golden, Colorado was founded in 1859. This historic town has a quaint downtown area that couldn’t be more picturesque. There are numerous trails, parks, and outdoor areas to explore that could keep you busy for weeks.

2. Illinois

Illinois is a beautiful state to drive through because of its vast open fields. This Midwest state has city and country and everything in between.

Chicago: Nicknamed the windy city, this place seems to have it all. From the iconic bean statue to the Navy Pier, you’ll never tire of things to do. This hotspot for vacations is excellent to visit in any weather. The summer provides great weather to explore the city, while the winter often coats it in beautiful snow.

Springfield: Springfield is the capital of Illinois and makes the perfect destination for history buffs. It is considered the hometown of President Lincoln. Visitors can explore his restored home, learn about his term in the White House at his presidential library, and visit his final resting place.

3. Kansas

Kansas is known for its flat ground that allows you to view the plains for miles and miles on a clear day. This most recent Say state offers city destinations as well as a national natural landmark.

Wichita: This south-central city boasts 33 museums for those culture lovers looking for a trip. There are themed gardens at Botanica, or you can travel back to 19th-century life at the Old Cowtown Museum.

Monument Rocks: This area was the first ever spot to be chosen as a National Natural Landmark. The chalk formation towers at the height of 70 feet and is said to have been formed 80 million years ago. The monument is located south of Oakley, Kansas, and will be a great destination for any geology lovers looking for a trip.

4. Missouri

Missouri has a special place in Say’s heart, as it is home to Say’s headquarters in Columbia. The state is a perfect mix of big city and outdoor splendor, making it a beautiful spot for a vacation.

St. Louis: The Gateway to the West has a never-ending list of family activities. There’s the St. Louis Zoo, the Science Center, the Gateway Arch, and many many more. While you’re at it, stop by Busch Stadium and catch a Cardinal’s baseball game for fun for the whole family.

Echo Bluff State Park: Missouri has a top-notch state park system, and Echo Bluffs is the newest addition. The park is in the southeast portion of the state and is home to an impressive brand-new lodge. Visitors to the park can fill their time with fishing, swimming, hiking, and all the outdoor adventures they want. We have some cars perfect for camping you may want to check out before you hit the road.

5. Tennessee

Many associate Nashville with Tennessee and that’s it. The state has so much more to offer than just country music though!

Gatlinburg: This tiny town rests at the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountains. Similar to Golden, Colorado, it offers picturesque streets and a fun downtown to explore that is full of boutiques. It is a great compromise if you’re trying to please outdoor enthusiasts and more city-minded friends.

Memphis: If it’s good enough for Elvis, it’s good enough for us! Memphis makes a great destination for the history lovers out there. Graceland can fill a full day of exploring, as guests can wander through Elvis’s estate and even his private planes. This city is also home to the National Civil Rights Museum. Be sure to set aside another day to take in the large museum.
