Say's FAQ

Coverage with Say

Do I have full-coverage?

Full-coverage is a term that’s thrown around in regard to insurance way too often. To be honest, the option to purchase "full coverage" doesn't exist. What this term usually refers to is the combination of Liability, Collision, and Comprehensive coverage. Unfortunately, you could purchase every kind of coverage a certain insurance provider offers and still end up in a scenario that leaves you footing the bill. We want to make sure you know what you are paying for and what is truly covered! Learn more about our different types of coverage.

Can I change my coverage online?

Yes, you can make changes to your coverage by logging into your My Say account and going to your policy page. From there you can edit drivers, add or remove vehicles, or make changes to your coverages.

Can I pause my coverage?

Unfortunately, no. While it might be tempting to end your coverage if you don't plan to drive your car for awhile, there are drawbacks to doing so. Anything can happen while your car's not covered. If your car is damaged while coverage is paused or canceled, then it won't be protected and you'd have to pay for the damages out of your own pocket. The other option would be for you to call us at 1-800-225-5729 and cancel your policy. However, we don’t recommend that because having an insurance gap can cause difficulties when you need insurance again.
