Your Policy

Why do I need all household members with a driver’s license on my policy?

Insurance providers often require you to add everyone in your household with a valid driver’s license to your policy. We do this in case someone else in your household ends up driving your vehicle. In the event of an accident, we want to make sure you’re covered. That being said, you are only required to add the person to your policy, not their vehicle.

Cancellation

Can I come back to Say?

It all depends on the reason for canceling. As long as you haven’t had a gap in coverage and weren’t canceled for non-payment or underwriting reasons, we’d love to have you back. Give us a call at 1-800-225-5729 and we’ll see if we can restore your policy.

Can I cancel my policy online?

No, our website does not allow you to cancel online. If you want to cancel, you just have to call a Say customer service representative at 1-800-225-5729.

Account Preferences

Can I unsubscribe from emails?

You can unsubscribe from emails by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of all Say emails. If you have a policy with us, you can also manage your communication preferences by signing in to your My Say account.There are still some cases in which we are legally obligated to send you insurance notifications. In these events, you will receive emails but we promise those are need-to-know.

Documents

Why don’t you mail me my ID card?

At Say, we consider ourselves digital natives! Keeping things online helps us keep costs down so we can give you better rates. Having your ID cards online also gives you the ease of being able to pull it up at anytime on your phone, if needed. It would be accepted just like your printed version of your ID card would be. If you'd still like to have a printed copy on hand, you can print your card at any time from your My Say account.
