We'll take a percentage off the cost of your premium purchase or renewal if you pay in one, up-front payment instead of six monthly installments.
Continuous Insurance Discount
No gaps in your coverage history means more cash in your wallet. If you've had continuous coverage up until the moment we say "go" on your coverage with us, you may be eligible for a discount!
At sign up, we will verify your continuous coverage in either consumer reports or documentation you provide. Once we determine you're eligible, you'll receive a discounted rate that's good for up to 48 months.
Some documents are required to be printed and mailed to you directly. For those that aren't, you can opt to have them sent to you electronically. And when you do that, we'll opt to give you a discount.
Advance Purchase Discount
We don't really know if the early bird actually gets the worm, but we do know that at Say, the early applicant gets the discount. Basically, if you purchase a policy at least seven days prior to needing it, we'll give you a discount.
And as long as you stay with Say, we'll give you a discounted rate that's good for up to 48 months.
Defensive Driving Course Discount
This is also known as the Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention Course discount by some. We can reduce your Liability, Medical Payments and Collision coverages if you:
- Successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Accident Prevention Course that is approved by the Illinois Secretary of State and is taught by an approved instructor.
- Provide us a certificate (or copy of one) from the company saying you've successfully completed the course within three years prior to your policy's effective date. Once the time period exceeds three years, the course will need to be repeated in order to continue your discount.
- Have not had your license revoked or suspended for any reason by the Secretary of State within the last 36 months.
To get the discount, you have to be over the age of 55 in Colorado, Illinois, Missouri, and Tennessee. You can be any age in Kansas and can be eligible for the discount after you've taken the course.
If your car has an anti-theft device, we'll give you a discount on your comprehensive coverage premium. Easy-peasy.
We define anti-theft devices as any active or passive system or device designed to prevent theft of the vehicle or its components. It can be the original equipment from the manufacturer or after-market equipment. Think car alarms, disabling devices, and GPS trackers.
