Say’s Favorite Car Technology

Is there anything more fun than checking out a new (or new to you) car’s technology? And with tech changing so fast these days, it seems like there’s always something cutting-edge and exciting to explore.

Here at Say, we’re no exception, and love car technology just as much as the next person. So much so that we’ve gathered some of the car tech that our team just can’t seem to live without.

1. Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a fan-favorite. You’ve got the hands-free calling so you don’t have to miss a beat on the road. You can make appointments while running errands, or chat with old friends on a long road trip. And with Bluetooth, you can do all that without having to hold your phone. Plus, Bluetooth follows those cell phone laws some states have implemented for drivers.

It’s not just about the phone calls either. You also have the ease of listening to your favorite Spotify playlist without plugging in your phone to that tangled auxiliary cord. This tech keeps us hands-free and there’s no going back now!

2. Back-up camera

The back-up camera became pretty mainstream around 2012, and we really can’t live without it now. This safety feature adds an extra level of security for you whenever you’re leaving a parking space, or just backing out of your driveway. It has become so popular and useful that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration requires all cars sold after May 2018 to include a backup camera.

You should always be practicing those safe-driving techniques, but here at Say, we love the extra peace of mind that the back-up camera provides.

3. Seat warmers

Because Say is located in mid-Missouri, it’s no shock that seat warmers made the list for Say’s top car technology. There’s really nothing better than turning your seat warmers on high as you drive to work in the snowy weather or on a cold, rainy day. This perk is something that we could live without, but don’t really want to.

4. Voice control

Voice control is the perfect partner for Bluetooth. And the Say team loves voice control almost as much as we love our hands-free Bluetooth. Voice control makes using Bluetooth a seamless process, allowing you to make your calls or even send a text without needing to pick up your phone.

And again, with so many states requiring that you don’t use your phone while driving, voice control continues to come in handy day after day.

Car technology is always changing. But that makes it fun and keeps you excited for the new best thing to hope for you in your next car.
